How often should I service my HVAC system?

How often should I change my air filters?

The average air filter should be replaced every 90 days; however, replacement frequency can vary based on filter size and type. Contact Holtzople with any questions regarding specific filters.

Why is my AC blowing warm air?

Generally, an AC unit blowing warm air is caused by a dirty air filter that’s restricting airflow, low refrigerant levels, a frozen evaporator coil, or improper thermostat settings. If the problem persists once these are addressed, we’re happy to send someone out to perform an inspection and diagnose the problem.

What size AC unit do I need?

The size of the AC unit you need is largely dependent on the size of your house. As a general rule, 20–35 BTUs of cooling are required per square foot. For an accurate assessment, call us and we will let you know the unit size that works best for your home.
